Therefore employees hate open plan offices

Under the heading "Therefore employees hate open-plan offices", the Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende runs an article describing the nuisances at work in the otherwise popular open-plan offices.

It is shown by a research conducted by market researcher Lindberg International in cooperation with the manufacturer of headsets Jabra.

The biggest nuisance is noise, interruptions from colleagues and lack of privacy. But problems with indoor air quality and temperature in the offices is something that affects the job satisfaction too.

Almost half of those who sit in an open-plan office believes that it is detrimental to their productivity. In addition, the study shows that too many employees in the same room increases the risk of sick leave.

Topdanmark , which was one of the first companies that started with open-plan offices in Denmark, has made a variety of efforts to get the premises to function. Carpets, partitions facing the aisles and some small meeting rooms and workspaces, which is close to the individual workplace are just some of the initiatives.

Triplan delivers both the frameless partition TP Lite and the sound-rated glass wall TP Acoustic which works great when you want to preserve openness and transparency, but also need to reduce noise and interruptions.

Triplan walls provide a better environment for both employees and employers.
