Exclusive architecture with custom designed glass walls
CASA's new domicile is beautifully situated by the harbor in Horsens and consists of a newly built office building and an old warehouse.
Architecturally, the two buildings are connected by the same choice of materials used in different ways.
The warehouse's old wooden structure stands intact with all its columns, in beautiful contrast to a light composition of meeting room constructions in the middle of the large room. In the new office building, the steel plates are integrated into the glass walls.
Triplan has designed and developed the steel cassettes specially for the old warehouse, they are powder coated in the same color as frames and sections. The load-bearing design in the meeting rooms is kept clear of the glass walls and stands as slender black-molded steel pillars - a modern pendant to the powerful old timber constructions.
In the new office building, the black steel plates are integrated into the glass walls, so the connection between the new and the old building is emphasized by the same choice of materials. Triplan has therefore further developed the TP Lite glass wall series - the glass in the black frames is complemented with black steel sheets glued on both sides the glass with the same surface as the "facades" at the meeting rooms in the warehouse.
